JAG(UK) has been working closely with BT to try and resolve a number of issues. There has been a change in how BT in the North West will handle defect management as a result of our discussions. BT Openreach and Carillion are fully aware of the issues and problems that are being experienced particularly in the North West of England Region. View the statement here, which is a positive approach by BT Openreach and its supplier to address these issues, and it is in the interests of all parties to engage with the plan to its successful conclusion. The plan will be monitored, and should there be concerns then these need to be brought to the attention of the JAG(UK) Manager.
View the summary of a face to face meeting with BT and JAG(UK). This will be a regular occurrence in terms of meetings and trying to help drive change, and will be supplemented by fortnightly calls about the North West. In addition, JAG(UK) have set in place an escalation process and should any member need help please contact the JAG(UK) Manager.
